Yugantar Education Society (YES) is the oldest voluntary service organization in Central India. It was founded in 1920, with a strong value base of making learning and knowledge available to all strata of society. The society was founded by Late Shri. Raosaheb Thaware, a noted social activist and Late Shri. Nasikrao alias Balasaheb Tirpude, Former Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
The Education Society oversees a wide range of institutions, including primary and high schools, colleges, hostels for both boys and girls, and specialized departments offering professional education. These include programs in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT), Social Work, Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology (BA), Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Finance (B.Sc), as well as Physical Education and Nursing.

Mr. Kalash R. Tirpude serves as the President of Yugantar Education Society, Nagpur. A dynamic and forward-thinking leader, he is committed to carrying forward the institution’s legacy of academic excellence, innovation, and inclusive growth. Under his leadership, the Tirpude group of institutions continues to evolve with a focus on quality education, skill development, and preparing students for global challenges.
Dr. Lalit Khullar is the Director of Tirpude Institute of Management Education, Nagpur. An engineer by qualification, he brings over 10 years of industry experience and more than two decades of expertise in teaching and academic leadership. A dynamic leader and consultant to several leading industries, Dr. Khullar is known for his innovative approach and strategic vision. He plays a pivotal role in promoting activity-based learning at Tirpude, aligning education with real-world applications and industry expectations. His leadership continues to drive academic excellence and holistic student development.
Dr. Kamal Agrawal, a distinguished name associated with Haldiram’s Nagpur, is a visionary entrepreneur and respected leader in the food industry. His strategic insight, business acumen, and commitment to ethical practices have significantly contributed to the growth and reputation of the Haldiram’s brand. We are privileged to have him on our board, where his experience and guidance will add immense value to our pursuit of academic excellence, innovation, and industry relevance.
Dr. Manoj B. Daigavane serves as the Joint Director, Technical Education, Regional Office,
Nagpur. With a distinguished career in the education management sector, he brings a wealth of experience in academic leadership, strategic planning, and institutional development. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the prestigious Laxminarayan Institute of Technology, Nagpur. Dr. Daigavane is also proficient in MATLAB and known for his strengths in lecturing, cross-functional team leadership, and strategy. We are honored to have him on our board, where his expertise and insight will greatly enrich our academic vision and quality initiatives.
Dr. Sanjay Kavishwar is an accomplished academic leader with extensive experience as Professor and Dean – Academics at Tirpude Institute of Management Education, Nagpur, and Dean – Faculty of Commerce and Management at Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. He excels in curriculum development, academic auditing, and educational leadership, driving significant growth in student enrollment and revenue. Key achievements include guiding the institute to NAAC B++ accreditation in its first cycle and implementing the National Education Policy 2020 at RTM Nagpur University. With deep expertise in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Strategic Management, Business Research, and more, he brings strong skills in logical and critical thinking, communication, and human resource management. His career goals focus on elevating higher education quality through innovative teaching tools and strategic networking.
Dr. Carol Rao is the Dean of Undergraduate Programs at Tirpude Institute of Management Education, Nagpur. With a vibrant and approachable personality, she is deeply committed to student development, mentorship, and academic excellence. Known for her unwavering support and guidance, Dr. Rao is always accessible to students, nurturing their potential both inside and outside the classroom. Her leadership plays a vital role in shaping a dynamic and student-centric learning environment.
Dr. Yogesh Gharpure, Dean of Postgraduate Programs at Tirpude Institute of Management Education, Nagpur, holds an M.Com., MBA, and Ph.D., with specialization in Finance and Accounts. Known for his calm and composed demeanor, he is a respected mentor and guide to both faculty and students. With a consistent and thoughtful approach, Dr. Gharpure fosters an environment of academic discipline and collaborative learning. His expertise, leadership, and approachable nature make him an invaluable part of the institution’s academic framework.
