UG SEM-I INDUCTION PROGRAMME 2026
7th & 8th August 2026 –Two Days of Connection, Collaboration, Inspiration & Fun
The UG Sem-I Induction Programme 2026 at Tirpude Institute of Management Education welcomed the new batch of BCom (BA/CA), BSc (Finance), BSc (Data Science), BA (Psychology) and BA (Economics) students with two engaging days designed to help them connect with their peers, faculty, seniors and alumni.
From team formation and fireside conversations to alumni interaction, thought-provoking sessions and exciting team challenges, the programme offered students their first glimpse into the vibrant academic and social life at Tirpude.
🌟 DAY 1 | Create Your Identity
The first day began with registration and team formation, giving students their first opportunity to interact with their new classmates.
🤝 Create Your Identity
Students participated in team-building activities designed to help them break the ice, discover common interests and begin building their identity as a batch.
🔥 Fireside Chats
The day featured informal and engaging Fireside Chats, giving students an opportunity to hear directly from faculty members and leadership.
These conversations moved beyond formal introductions, allowing students to understand the people, experiences and perspectives behind their college journey.
🎓 Interactive Sessions
Students also participated in sessions covering important aspects of their transition into college life, helping them understand what lies ahead academically and personally.
🌟 Hangout with Alumni
One of the highlights of Day 1 was the Alumni Hangout, where students interacted with Tirpude alumni and heard about their experiences beyond college.
The alumni interaction included inspiring stories of different career journeys—including alumni who have ventured into exciting and unconventional fields.
Among the alumni connections was Kashyap B, a Tirpude alumnus who has moved from the classrooms of Tirpude towards the big screen with YRF’s Alpha.
For the freshers, these interactions offered an important message:
Your degree is only the beginning. Your journey can take you wherever your curiosity, courage and ambition lead you.
🎯 Human Bingo
The day ended on a lighter note with Human Bingo, encouraging students to interact with people they may not have spoken to yet and discover interesting things about their new classmates.
🚀 DAY 2 | Learn, Collaborate & Compete
Day 2 began with conversations around well-being and adapting to college life, followed by sessions focused on technology, AI and the changing world of work.
💙 It’s Okay Not to Be Okay
A psychology-oriented session created space for students to reflect on well-being, emotions and the transition into a new phase of life.
🤖 Mind Over Machine
An AI-oriented session introduced students to the evolving relationship between human intelligence and artificial intelligence, encouraging them to think about how technology is shaping education, careers and the future.
🎮 Collaborative Activities
Then came the part everyone was waiting for!
Students were divided into teams and participated in a series of collaborative games and challenges designed to test creativity, communication, teamwork, confidence and quick thinking.

The emphasis wasn’t simply on winning—it was on working together, thinking differently and having fun with the new people who would become part of their college journey.
🏆 And Then Came the Winners!
The two-day experience culminated in an exciting Prize Distribution Ceremony, celebrating the teams and students who stood out during the collaborative activities.
More than just prizes, the moment celebrated team spirit, participation, creativity and enthusiasm.
🤝 A Support System Beyond the Classroom
A special feature of the induction programme was the involvement of senior student mentors from the 3rd and 5th semesters.
These mentors will continue to serve as approachable guides for the new students—helping them navigate academics, campus life, activities and the many new experiences that come with college.
The idea is simple:
You don’t have to figure out college alone.
Your faculty, seniors, alumni and peers are all part of your Tirpude journey.
