Dr.Prerna Thakwani

INTRODUCTION

Dr. Prerna Thakwani is an Assistant Professor and UG Program Coordinator at Tirpude Institute of Management Education (TiME), Nagpur, with over 20 years of teaching experience. She has been associated with TiME since 2011, teaching Information Technology courses to both undergraduate and postgraduate students while overseeing academic coordination for UG programs. She holds a Ph.D. in M-Commerce, an MBA, MIRPM, and a B.Sc. Her research interests include Information Technology, M-Commerce, Digital Transformation, and Consumer Behaviour. She has published several research papers and actively participates in research and Faculty Development Programs, demonstrating her commitment to academic excellence and innovation in education.

  • . Ph.D.- A study on the awarness  and use of M-Commerce as an upcoming technology with special reference to Nagpur City, under the guidance of Dr. Ashok Motwani.
  •  Master in Business Administration Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU),2010.
  • MIRPM (Masters of Industrial Relations and Personal Management), Tirpude College of social Work, Nagpur.
  •  Bachelors of Science (B.Sc) Agra College, Agra University.

Academic Experience

  •  Currently working as Assistant Professor , Tirpude Institute of Management Education , Nagpur Since 1 August 2011 till date.
  •  I am currently associated with TiME, where I teach both postgraduate and undergraduate programs. My areas of
    instruction include all Information Technology Courses.
  • In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I also serve as the Cordinator for the UG Programs, where I oversee
    academic coordination .
  •  Raisoni College , Nagpur from 8th Dec,2008 to 30th July,2011.
  • I had served as a faculty member at Raisoni, Nagpur, where I teach postgraduate management students across key domains.
  • My teaching areas included IT.
