TIRPUDE’S INDUSTRY READINESS EXERCISE (TiRE)

Tirpude Institute of Management Education (TIME) is a pioneer in conducting innovative management workshops for students and to inculcate the X factor in each one of them. One such academic event which is conducted every year is Tirpude’s Industry Readiness Exercise (TiRE). This event is specially conducted for the MBA/BBA/BCCA final year students. This workshop is designed to make the students job-ready for industry and aims to prepare the students for all the challenges that they shall face in their work lives.

The objective of this exercise is to provide improved feedback, guidance, and mentoring to students so as to help them plan better and demonstrate their employability skills. The workshop helps the institute to identify, design and modify programs to better promote learning and student success in corporate world.

This is a 5-day workshop, during which students are made to undergo various activities, sessions, workshops, etc. along with several mock Group Discussions (GD) and mock Personal Interviews (PIs) conducted by experts from the industry. Sessions are conducted on Resume making, tips on GD and PI, personal grooming, email and office etiquettes by industry stalwarts. The grooming session, which is a part of the pre TiRE exercise, aims at giving the girls and boys an opportunity to learn and practice the art of tying knot/ scarf, techniques of applying makeup and grooming for the job in presence of industry professionals.

Adding a touch of glamour to it, two workshops on dining etiquette and table manners are also held outside of the campus, with an aim to train students on dining etiquettes, table manners and usage of cutlery and napkins during formal dining settings in the corporate world. An elaborate menu is served to the students to familiarize them with various international and Indian cuisines. Students enjoy these sessions, thoroughly, while they also learn new skills.

The various rigorous activities and sessions that students undergo as a part of TiRE are

  1. Grooming (Boys & Girls, separately)
  2. Table manners and etiquettes
  3. Resume making
  4. Office etiquettes
  5. Emailing etiquettes
  6. Conducting an official meeting (including minutes of meeting)
  7. Group Discussions – 4 sessions for every student
  8. Personal Interviews – 4 sessions for every student

Students gain immense confidence as a result of TiRE activities. They also get to know their weak spots and have an opportunity to improve upon these areas before they actually face the corporate world.

CompeTiME – Exciting Competitions @ TiME

A two-day event “CompeTiME – Competitions @ TiME” is being held starting today as a welcome-back celebration for our UG Second- and Third-Year students. This event is designed to spark enthusiasm and encourage active participation as students return to campus for the new academic year.

Day One features three engaging activities: Crossword Puzzle and Aerial View, Merry-Go-Round Puzzle, and Reel it Real.

TiME kicked off its Two-Day Induction Program today, welcoming Semester 1 students with energy and enthusiasm. The event was designed to introduce freshers to college life in an engaging and supportive environment.

The day began with a warm, interactive session conducted by senior students, who shared valuable insights about academic culture, co-curricular activities, upcoming campus events, and growth opportunities at TiME. Their stories and guidance helped the newcomers feel informed and inspired.

This was followed by a series of team formation activities that sparked laughter, bonding, and healthy competition. The highlight of the day was an exciting Treasure Hunt, where students collaborated in teams to complete creative and challenging tasks, unlocking clues to progress through the game.

The experience not only familiarized students with key locations on campus but also encouraged teamwork, campus exploration, and a strong sense of belonging — setting a positive tone for the journey ahead.

The UG Fresher’s Party for the new batch of  B.Com (CA/BA), B.A (Psychology), B.A (Economics), B.Sc (Data Science) and B.Sc (finance) students was held on 8th September 2025 at Dabo Club & Kitchen.
It was an evening filled with music, dance, games, and unforgettable moments. The event welcomed our new students with open arms, giving them a chance to bond, celebrate, and kick-start their journey in style.

Day 2 of the Induction Programme was packed with inspiration and excitement. The day began with “Podcast with Alumni”, a special session conducted by senior students, where our esteemed alumni interacted with the freshers and shared their memorable experiences and journey at TiME. It was a motivating and heartwarming session that gave the newcomers a glimpse of what lies ahead. The second half of the day was all about fun and bonding with a range of team-building activities like Cover Me Up, Jump & Munch, Pass the Flour, Silent Line-Up, and Bucket Ball Relay. Students participated with great enthusiasm, enjoyed every moment, and built lasting connections with their peers.
